Every January, we like to rally the bass community and do something to help out those less fortunate.
So we host a giveaway to help raise money for our charity partner Pencils of Promise — at no additional cost to you. And it helps them build schools for children in under-resourced nations.
Plus it also helps new bass players find out about what we do here at SBL. (Once again, completely free of charge.)
We call it our annual Win a Bass, Build a School Giveaway. And that means this is your best chance in 2025 to win one nearly $55,000 in basses and other awesome prizes.
So don’t miss out... check out the incredible prizes below!
WIN A BASS - BUILD A SCHOOL
Check out these insane prizes you could take home as part of this giveaway right now!
This bass is from my personal collection. And I might shed a tear when I say goodbye to it! I’ve played hundreds of Jazz basses in the 3+ decades I’ve been playing bass. And this is in the top 2 all-time Jazz basses I’ve ever played. That’s how smooth and easy it is to play. (Not to mention the killer tone!)
This is another bass from my personal collection. It has a nice slim neck, but also has an extra flat fingerboard radius too. So it’s lightning fast and you can get the action super low!
On top of that, it features a reverse P pickup, which gives you a little more bite than the traditional P pickup. That’s because the E and A string coil are closer towards the bridge.
Plus it looks amazing with a beautiful Overwater bridge finished in a gorgeous gun metal grey. And it’s got a super-light alder body, so it’s perfect for the gigging bassist who doesn’t want a bass that feels like a piece of lead hanging around your neck for hours at a time!
This bass sounds like THUNDER. It’s by far the best Stingray I’ve ever played. And it also has the best neck I’ve ever felt out of ALL the basses I’ve played in my life. It’s outrageous!
Plus it’s got a beautiful sunburst finish, one piece maple neck, and is in amazing condition for its age.
I sampled a whopping 12 Rickenbacker basses at Andy Baxter’s famous bass shop in the U.K. And this one was hands-down the best of the bunch!
Not only does it play like butter, it also has a beautiful Mapleglow finish … crushed pearl triangle inlays … checkerboard binding around the body … the classic toaster neck pickup ... and wavy Grover Crackerjack box tuners!
This brand-new program shows you how to become the ultimate Full-Stack Bassist who can show up to any gig and play killer grooves on the spot. No solos, jazz fusion, or other “party tricks” — just a rock-solid command of your role as a bassist and member of the rhythm section, who can bring any song to life.
Enjoy access to all the game-changing material inside the SBL Membership — for the rest of your life!
Get instant access to 8 must-have courses, including 5 Accelerators, 2 Artist Masterclasses, and 1 Bootcamp. This incredible collection retails for $1,000.00.
